Lately, I have been getting an Error - Printing message every time I try to print something from my computer. I can print from other computers, phones, tablets, etc but not from my computer.

I have tried everything. I have tried restarting computers and restarting printer but it doesn't work. I made sure my printer was the default printer of my computer. I have tried the HP Print and Scan Doctor and it says my printer is working fine but it won't print the test page. I have installed Windows 10 Software from on this HP site and it didn't work.

I have tried everything the HP automated Virtual Agent has said and nothing seems to be working.

I even uninstalled my printer and everything from my computer and reinstalled it. It worked for a little bit and went right back to the error message. Before I uninstalled and reinstalled I was able to print the test page from the HP Print and Scan Doctor and the printer worked once in awhile after printing the test page. Although the next time I went to print it had the error message again. 

This has been going on for quite a few months now. I researched online about the error message and I have seen other people were having the same problem. I saw some people saying something about printer software from Windows 8 may be what is causing the problem if you Update your computer from Windows 8 to Windows 10. Which I have.

Is there a way to make sure the Windows 8 software is removed from your computer if that is the problem and if now how to remove it? Or does the Windows 8 software get uninstalled when you install Windows 10 software? I know some software when installing a newer version the older version gets uninstalled first before installing the new version. Please do explain as easy as you can step by step. I am not as computer savvy.
