HP Recommended
Product: ENVY 5052
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

HP ENVY 5052 connected wirelessly to  a Dell all in one PC running Win 7 64 bit.

Printer will print  images from windows paint and Pick Pic,  but will not print text from windows apps including Notepad, or Open Office.

Printed fine 24 hours ago? 

Options tried so far:

rebooted the PC, power cycled the printer, Reset the printer by unplugging it and plugging it back in while on, downloading the HP  printer assistant and running it for diagnostics (nothing found).

I am unaware of any changes in the last 24 hours. Any ideas?
