I'm trying to print photos on my HP Envy 5530 printer using high quality, but heavy weight, photo paper . When I select "Print" from the Printer Drop Down List after selecting "Photo Paper" from both the "Presets" and "Paper Type" drop down menus, the printer sucks the paper about 2 inches into the printer and then says it's printing. The paper, however, never moved further and eventually the printer indicates that it is jammed. I follow the directions to clear the jam, but nothing has been printed. This has happened repeatedly with several attempots.
I have also used the printer utility to clean the paper feed with no change in my results.
This paper is 80 lb paper. Is there a limit on how heavy the paper can be in this printer? I have successfully printed with 59 lb paper, but I have 50 sheets of the heavier stuf that I'd like to use.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do?
