I have replaced the ink cartridges 3 times (both black and Tri-Color) and have not gone through a ream of paper. I purchase the 63XL which states you get 2.5X pages compared to the 63 black ink cartridge.
This has become ridiculously expensive. Can someone please explain how (logically) this can happen. I probably print 4 x a week but only a few-several pages at a time. I have not printed any pictures, just documents (word; excel; some powerpoint; occasional PDF)
Is there a way to determine how many pages are being used per cartridge? How can I be sure that the cartridges I am purchasing - via Staples - HP brand - are in fact full. is there a way to check to see if in fact the cartridges have run out of ink? I hate to be so suspicious but it is very frustrating and expensive.
Thank you.
