HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2545 All-in-One Printer

I have a HP 2545 all in one ink advantage inkjet printer. I did't use it for 4-5 months..now i'm getting incompatible print cartridge - black error ! This error is only showing for the black cartridge ! The color one is working . Things i did so far

  1. reseated the cartridge.

  2. Cleaned both the contact point  inside the printer  and the cartridge's body with a wet cloth soaked in distilled water 
  3. Bought a new cartridge and replaced it with a new one.

Then i bought  brand new genuine HP cartridge..  

To my surprise it is still showing the same error Cartridge not compatible - Black.

How do i fix this ?
PS- its a HP original compatible 678 cartridge and using the latest driver downloaded from this page https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Deskjet-Ink-Advantage-2540-All-in-One-Printer-se...
