the original ink cartridges for my printer are depleted. I purchased third party (remanufactured) 952 cartridges, but the printer insists these are 'not installed correctly,' and will not recognize them or print.
I subsequently refilled the original cartridges, which is a much more environmentally friendly option than purchasing new ink.
the printer still says these refilled ink cartridges are depleted.
I have followed the support articles and updated the firmware (it was already up-to-date)
I have tried replacing the cartridges.
I have tried turning off the printer.
I have tried resetting to factory defaults.
It appears that the Dynamic Security is disabling the remanufactured ink, but the firmware is already 'updated,' and that didn't solve the problem.
I would be happy with bypassing the depleted ink setting as well. Currently, my printer is non-functional because it thinks the cartridges are empty.
