I initially set up my Office Jet 3830 with wireless connection and enrolled in Instant Ink. After having constant lost of connection, I changed my connection to USB. I have then enjoyed successful printing for months until now. Now when I send print order to printer, the printer says, "Connect printer to update HP Instant Ink status." I can ignore "Connect" and select "OK", then the printer works. I don't want to have to keep doing this. How do I reset printer or fix this issue? I have NEVER used an Instant Ink cartridge in this printer. I need a solution that does not required me to connect to the internet as the wireless connection will also cause problems, that in the past, has required me to re- install the driver software.
