Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The extender broke on the output paper tray.  I purchased a replacement output paper tray but can't remove the old one without breaking it, which means that I might break the new part when trying to install it.  Is there a way to open up the area it's installed in instead of trying to bend a hard plastic piece to get the side pegs holding it in place out of the holes (and back in for the replacement piece)?
