So - I have gotten tired on spending 120$ per 2-3 months for printer cartridges -- so I want to print EVERYTHING in black and white/grayscale -- I have changed the Preferences setting on my PC ... BUT every time I try to print in &W -- the printer prompts me to push OK if I only want to print in B&W --

 

This is BS -- I know you want me to buy your overpriced cartridges -- but I have had it -- I WANT to know how to get the printer to stop prompting me and just printing my documents in B&W like the Preferences state -- 

 

The 8710 printer is unquestionably the worst printer I have ever owned -- between Wireless requiring me to reset the printer every 2 months to overpriced cartridges -- I will not ever buy another HP printer.
