Hi,
I am currently experiencing an issue where I am unable to connect to my HP ENVY printer through my pc (through network)
At present my printer is on the wireless network, and PC is hardwired to same modem/router.
No matter what I do I ALWAYS get the "driver is unavailable" message in the Printers & Scanners (settings)
I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling...HP doctor to no avail.
Via phone it prints fine, I can see it through HP Smart etc webservice etc..
The printer installed is "not" the direct one as instructed when trying to install through the HP smart (when it gives both options).
Its strange as when I bought the printer 10 months ago it worked fine, I haven't used it in a while, and now I'm working and home schooling my daughter from home and need to print is imperative, I cannot! its very frustrating, especially as I have just setup instant ink too to cater for this...
Can any one please advise/help? I have 2 months warranty left on this printer, is it a printer or Win 10 problem??
