I have been using my MFP Officejet e5740 with Win 7 and scanning 2 sided documents using "HP Scan". I just upgraded to a Lenovo Win 10 Pro machine and installed the printer and all updated drivers for all HP software related to the 5740. I researched how to do 2 sided scanning as before and found this solution by:

so I downloaded the HP Scan Extended but when I load it, I get this error:
Can anyone help with this? The 5740 is connected and found on my network so not sure why I'm getting that error.
HP scan on Win 7 was very easy and always worked.
