HP Color LaserJet Pro M283fdw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello HP community,

After many years with an inkjet printer, I have now opted for a laser printer from HP and bought the "HP Color LaserJet Pro M283fdw" last week.
The printer makes a very good impression and also has a nice print image. Even photos and pictures look very nice when it works.
The printer is connected to my FritzBox via a network cable. In the FritzBox I have reserved the IP address for the printer so that it does not change. I left the basic settings for the network in the printer menu.
The setup on my Windows 10 PC also worked perfectly. I have two more Windows 10 laptops and two Android smartphones. On all Windows devices I have set up the printer completely using the "HPEasyStart_11_5_4644_17.exe" utility. I installed the "HP Smart" apps on the two smartphones (Android 10).
Then the problems started:
When I try to print something on a Windows 10 laptop, I often get the message "The printer is offline". However, I can print on another laptop or from a smartphone. The "HP Print and Scan Doctor" did not bring any help here either, just the information that the driver should be reinstalled. Most of the time, does the printer work again some time later ?! A quick remedy is to turn the printer off and then on again.
The same applies to the scanner. If I want to scan something, there is often a message on the PC "No access to the scanner". The same applies here: the "HP Print and Scan Doctor" program cannot help here and usually advises you to reinstall it.
In both cases, "HP Print and Scan Doctor" finds the printer on the network!
This is extremely annoying, with a not exactly cheap and brand new device. I also had problems with my inkjet printers, but here the printer only cost 1/3! I was hoping to have fewer problems with a higher quality device.
Ask for help and tips on why this could be.
greeting
