Product: Officejet Pro K850

When I am turning the printer on the Magenta ink cartridge light is flashing orange and when trying to print it is saying error, I’m not sure if this is to do with the ink cartridge light because it will not even print in black. Magenta is the only one flashing , I’ve tried resetting the printer along with taking the cartridge out and cleaning it but nothing has worked. The cartridge is still over half full so not like it’s near empty. 
please could you help me solve this issue?
