I'm trying to print a black & white document. When I try to print a PDF from my computer (using Microsoft Edge), the pages are coming out blank. I'm using brand new HP ink cartridges, the paper is fine, and when I printed out Status and Diagnostic Reports, the black ink prints perfectly. This leads me to believe there's a software problem with the printer, or that the printer and my computer aren't communicating properly.

Somewhat relevant is that the Report pages aren't printing in color--neither magenta, cyan, nor yellow appear to have been printed.

What can I do to fix this?
