Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have had my combo printer, scanner, copier for about 6 months. And I just tried to use the scanner portion, and I keep getting an error that gives me a list of reasons why the scanner can not scan to my computer. I have a USB connection, and I print on this printer all day long, make copies. But the scanner will not work to save my life. I have tried using HP scanner printer doctor, it will scan a test page, but if I try to scan something that I want to scan, it will not work.
