Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am getting an error when scanning.. it says unable to communicate with the scanner. The hp print and scan doctor detected a driver error and in the virtual chat i found that  HP Digital Imaging Monitor (DIM) software is missing in my drivers. how to get that software/driver..i need to get the printer's scan function up and running. i have also tried disabling all the firewalls still the problem exits. Thanks in aticipation.
