Product: HP DeskJet 4120e All-in-One Printer

HPF57387  (HP DeskJet 4100 series)

Until a few days ago, the printer had been printing satisfactorily.

A few days ago the printer sounded as if it was printing but nothing was printed on the paper.

I went through the print and scan doctor procedure. Nothing seemed to have been found to cause the problem. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it The HP Smart checked everything was okay and, using the HP Smart, a PDF document printed.

Yesterday an email printed just as it should.

Today a document will not print - ie it sounded as if something was printing but nothing was printed on the paper.

 

Again today, 6th February, a document will not print - ie it sounded as if something was printing but nothing was printed on the paper.
