HP Recommended

I replaced the cartridge with HP original cartridge on my M140WE printer but now it's stuck on "validating..." and the yellow exclamation point is blinking. I have tried everything that is recommended by HP...by users...by everyone in the world of internet but NOTHING has worked! I am totally fed up with HP printers and very frustrated with the freaking printer! Any kind of help is appreciated as I can't return this stupid printer back to HP!
