Product: HP DeskJet 2720e All-in-One Printer

the printed page count made by the HP Instant Ink software is incorrect, always counting more pages than were actually printed.
Today I accidentally started 1 print job that had just been cancelled, and I find myself counting 2 printed pages, and not perhaps 1 as would be correct.
even in the past, looking at the history, the number of printed pages always seems to be higher than those actually printed

what can I do?
