Hello, I have HP Deskjet F4480. I bought new genuine HP cartridges a couple of years ago and it was printing fine with both B&W and Color. Then I used another HP printer for a a year. Since my other printer is not working, I wanted to start using this printer. The cartridge status shows that there is enough ink but all pages are printed completely blank. I searched online for any suggestions and HP support suggested using "Align Printhead". I did that but no change. I also used HP Scan and Print Doctor to troubleshoot and it detected that genuine HP cartridges are installed and have about 50% ink level. But no matter what options are chosen to test the print pages after "Clean Printhead" and "Align Printheads", the pages are completely blank. It is ridiculous that the printer does not show any issue and "HP Scan and Print Doctor" can't diagnose to find an error even though the printer is not working. It will be great if someone knows the solution. I can certainly try buying new cartridges but don't want to spend if this is because of something else (since cartridges do have ink).
