If all the other recommendations didn't work try what I did.  I removed the cartridge and used a medium soft tooth brush to clean the contacts inside the printer, not the ones on the cartridge.  I previously cleaned them with alcohol and compressed air but neither of those methods worked.  Only the tooth brush.  I was not aggressive, I just brushed the contacts for about twenty seconds.  And that worked.  Good Luck.
