So my printer refuses to print if my ink is low, like 30% low. I replace the ink and it won't recognize the cartridges. I have a constant back-and-forth ink swap, sometimes it will recognize 2-3 out of 4 at a time. If one is completely missing then any given cartridge is fine but it's not happy with 4 cartridges leaving my paper unprintable. If I get on the phone with HP support they refuse to help diagnose any issue but want to sell me new printers because my 3-year-old printer is "outdated" even though it's the exact printer I would purchase new. Printers are the most frustrating thing on the planet when they add so much security to make sure you buy their brand of ink to the point that it doesn't recognize their product and god forbid you retry an old cartridge previously used in the printer. Somebody help me please I will throw this thing out the window and go back to using markers to do the job myself.
EDIT: I have seen some people have success going into cartridge settings but these settings straight up do not exist on my model.
