Trying to find out if the following firmware versions for the IP7000 support TLS v1.2 or v2.0. If v1.2, can you tell me what firmware version I need to support v2.0?

Hello @jkuder70 ,

Welcome to the HP Poly community.

From our VoIP FAQ:

Oct 03, 2016 QuestionWhat version of OpenSSL or TLS is supported by my Poly Phone, and can this be changed?

Resolution

Using a CCX as an example, you find the SSL / TSL selection via the Web Interface Settings > Network > TLS > TLS Applications. This may depend on the Software version used.

or

Sep 09, 2022 Question: Does a Poly SoundStation IP7000 support ZTP provisioning?

Resolution: The Poly SoundStation IP 7000 does not support TLS 1.2 and cannot be used with ZTP as explained => here <=

Best Regards

Hello @jkuder70 ,

Again our VoIP FAQ:

Apr 17, 2013 QuestionHow can I setup a TLS connection for SIP signaling and / or troubleshoot this?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The SoundStation 7000 is end of Life and end of support, so using the FAQ hopefully helps you get this working.

If not, please look at a currently supported Product like the Poly Trio C60.

Best Regards

Is there any way to locate 4.0.9.1191somewhere as that is what is being used by the phone that is currently working

Is the Poly Trio C60 a Skype version for Microsoft or is it compatible with Metaswitch?

HP Recommended

Hello @jkuder70 ,

I am not aware that we still host such old Firmware and as you have not provided any logs for us volunteers to try an look at there is not a lot you can do.

The Poly C60 did support Skype for Business but I believe this is end of support from Microsoft. Its an openSIP phone just like all our other current products like the CCX or Edge E phones. It can be used with Microsoft Teams, Zoom Rooms and many others as well.

If no other volunteers reply, I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

Best Regards

Well we have tried everything and no go. It is too bad that there is no way to get a copy of 4.0.9.1191 as we know that works on our system. We have a bunch of the IP7000's and now apparently are useless to us even as replacements for the dozens of them that we have out there in our offices. Thanks for the help.

I was able to get some logs but I am not seeing where I can attach them
