OMEN Laptop - 15-en0004nt
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

First of all, hello from Turkey,

I bought my OMEN Laptop - model 15-en0004nt 7 months ago, For the past 3 months I've been hearing sizzle at every sound from the laptop.

as a result of remote support;

-I did a bios update.

-I did an audio driver update.

-I tried changing the windows version.

but i couldn't make any progress, I sent my laptop to the service in Istanbul. They said they replaced the speaker and the problem was fixed.

result: the problem still persists.

I am very complaining about hp turkey authorities and service network, I love my laptop very much, but the sound bothers me a lot, help me please

Apart from the steps I mentioned above,
After installing new windows, I would always update the driver with the IObit Booster program, but this time I did not. I updated the drivers on windows update and left. I'm not having a problem for 5 days now, if I use it for one more week without any problems, I will close the issue.

@alperen_1,

Let's see if we can get some HP Experts / HP Support Agents involved here.

@Echo_Lake, you personally dealt with this issue before (thread: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Notebooks/HP-Omen-15-Weird-noise-coming-from-speakers/td-p/8075...), and I noticed that there are many threads in our HP User Forum discussing the same crackling noise phenomenon over and over again, such as here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Notebooks/HP-OMEN-CRACKLING-SOUND-AFTER-UPDATED-REALTEK-HIGH/td... and here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Notebooks/omen-15-sound-popping-or-crackling-noise/td-p/8083248.

Question: any updates or new insights how to resolve @alperen_1's issue?

Kind Regards,

NonSequitur777

Unfortunately in the old threads sometimes  we are not able to add comments as they are already solved, so is there any problem posting a question again?

Hi@alperen_1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing sound issues with the OMEN HP Notebook. I apologize for the Inconvenience.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Check with alternate headphones if it works fine.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
  • Also check is sound works fine from headset or speakers.

For any hardware issue or repair please click on the link Phone Assist Worldwide

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
