WE did all this when I was on the chat. I did rerun it and the printer is up to date From my experience I would say the screen is crap. I dont know if its replaceable I would think it would be a plug in deal if you take the printer apart

Pretty much the same issue as DaveEdinburgh had. Colour cartridge error, have tried the cleaning (which did fix it last time), the turning on and off and getting nowhere. The Virtual Agent sends me round in circles, confirms my warranty period and then doesn't give me any options to do anything. I chose the Instant Ink service as I hoped it would be simple and hassle free but it seems almost impossible to get any support. Very unhappy

Hi Jay
thanks for your response but I'm struggling to contact you. I don't seem to have the option to instant message you (the Send Message option just isn't there when I open your profile) and i don't seem to have any little blue envelopes< There is a blue envelope next to the tick and thumbs up under my name on my post but there is nothing in here that is clickable.
i might be being really dim here but at the moment I'm no further forward?
Thanks

I've got the same problem! I've done everything they told me via virtual agent and the instructions the printer gave me. IRS saying to replace the cartridge bit how can I when it is also saying they wont send me one until the problem is resolved?

I have same problem, printer kept saying that "incompatible cartridges" "The indicated cartridge are not intended for use in this printer " But I buy cartridge from HP, HP instant ink. Followed instruction to clean cartridge but doesn't work, virtual agent no good at all. Read some community comment but I can"t find little envelop mark next to profile.
Please help!

My sympathies. Exactly the same problem I’ve had and as described by several others. Your home schooling x 3 is tough enough!!
I’m just an HP user, no issues until this, but Jay or someone like him will read your message and get you sorted in a couple of days. My experience is that the error will be fixed and so far, it’s not been repeated even after subsequent replacement cartridges.
just so frustrating! There is some software error issue which HP haven’t addressed. It’s going to cost them a lot of customers!
