Common problems for INSTANT INK, HP+ PLANS: INK AND TONER
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Instant Ink. Check out this link: HP INSTANT INK, HP+ PLANS: INK AND TONER. .

I have an active InstantInk subscription which is currently on the Moderate plan of 100 pages which I upgraded to a couple of months ago for my son's school work.
But my printer has been messed up since then and still not fixed, and we have had some personal health issues in the household which has been a very difficult time to deal with so I completely forgot to downgrade back to the basic plan.
I have now been charged two or three cycles of the Moderate plan with no usage. I tried downgrading now and it's saying I'm still going to be charged another cycle due to the timing.
I've tried speaking to the Virutal Assistant to put me through to a human agent to discuss this but I keep going round in circles.
How can I contact someone in Billing or Accounts to discuss a potential refund of the unused months and to stop the next charge at the Moderate plan?

This is all I know about Instant Ink and other subscriptions.

I do not have an instant ink printer. My understanding is that if you run out of ink, or you cancel your subscription, you can use genuine Hewlett Packard cartridges either original or refilled. They must have an HP chip in the cartridge.
The below type is unlikely to work.

Note that this is a peer to peer forum and I am just the messenger of this bad news: Instant ink cartridges can only be used when the ink subscription is active.   HP is not the only company that wants their own ink used. The last time I checked, Epson, Canon and Brother all do the same.

Appreciate the help, however what you posted was not in relation to my question at all.
I'm trying to get a refund for an increased printing plan that I did not need and which I forgot to downgrade due to life events and personal household issues.
I need someone from HP Billing Team to get in touch with me.

Call the phone number listed in "terms of service" is about all you can do.
