When I installed my printer I was only able to select a UK address, but I bought the printer in Spain. I need to change my shipping address to a Spanish address. So my ink will get delivered to the printer!

Press My Account > Settings and set the country as Spain.

Thank you for the assistance but when I try to change the country the drop down box that currently says United Kingdom is disabled and I cannot change it

I have a similar problem but in Portugal. I had an Instant Ink account in the UK but when I moved to Portugal, bringing the printer with me, HP were not offering Instant Ink here so I had to stop the service. Now they are offering it, but when I login to my HP Connected account and into Settings it allows me to change the country to Portugal but it doesn't save it. So then when I try to re-enrol my printer for Instant Ink, and to enter the new shipping address, the country is still set to United Kingdom and there is no option to change it. I've tried this several times but each time it fails to save the new country in my settings, just goes back to UK.

Hey @liz_w and @SpanishBen

Welcome to the HP Support forums, Andrea here Smiley Happy Thanks for reaching out. I'd be happy to help.

Since you have enrolled in Instant Ink already with your printer, you would need to cancel your accounts and create a new HP Connected account at www.hpconnected.com and choose the correct country flag.

I hope this helps, I understand this can be very frustrating.

Thanks,

Andrea

If there is a way to cancel my account at hpconnected.com (which incidentally you typed wrongly) then I can't find it!

@liz_w

You need to log into your Instant Ink account and cancel your Instant Ink account, you cannot cancel your HP Connected account.

Once you have cancelled your Instant Ink account you would go to www.hpconnected.com and create an account and choose the country that you are now residing in.

Thanks,

Andrea

OK so I logged into my Instant Ink account. Now down the left I have 3 options:

1. Home

If I select this the options I now have are:

- Printer details

- Enrol another printer

- Re-enrol this printer

- Download past invoices

2. Print History

3. Account History

On none of these do I get a chance to cancel my Instant Ink account. I tried selecting Printer details and opting to remove the printer but it still appears on the Home page.

To the right of the Home page I have My Account. The only option here is to re-enrol the printer.

Above that I have Sign Out and Settings. If I select Settings I get 3 further options:

1. HP Connected Settings

This allows me to change my UserID, name, password and (in theory) country (but I already know that changing the country here doesn't work).

2. Notifications

This allows me to change my HP Communication preferences

3. Printing

This now has 4 tabs:

- MyPrinters, which tells me I haven't added any printers to my HP Connected account

- Instant Ink, which just takes me back to the Instant Ink Home page

- PrinterApps, which at the moment is telling me the service is unavailable

- Mobile Printing, which I am not interested in

I know this is a very long-winded post but, like I said, if there is a way to cancel my account then I can't find it.
