We recently enrolled with HP Instant Ink. Since enrolling, the printer will not connect to the server - the server test always fails. I have tried to fix by using the advice given on previous threads in the forum to go and change the IP address of the printer (automatic to manual and different numbers), but this did not work. The thread then suggests contact HP direct. HP support is not available weekends. I can only deal then or after 6 in the eve!! The printer now threatens, that if I do not connect and update HP Instant Ink shortly, printing will be denied!! Seems I have unwittingly stiffed myself by signing to Instant Ink!! All worked fine before, now no ability to scan to email and no remote print functionality - I purposely bought the printer for these functions!! Anyone able to help?
Many thanks

I know you've done some troubleshooting that you found online already, but given I'm not sure what you've tried, I'll start with the following steps:
1. On your printers front panel you will see a wireless icon along the bottom row. Touch that and take note of the IP address.
2. Open a web browser (such as Google Chrome) on your computer, enter the IP address into the address bar and hit enter. It should load the printer's Embedded Web page.
3. Select the Network tab at the top and then expand the Wireless 802.11 menu on the left. From that menu select IPv4 Configuration.
4. Tick the circle for Manual IP and click the Suggest a Manual IP Address button to autofill the data.
5. Tick the circle for Manual DNS Server and enter 8.8.8.8 in the Preferred and 8.8.4.4 in the Alternate.
6. Click Apply and let it finish. You may get a connection error afterwards, this is normal.
7. Turn off the printer.
8. Unplug the wireless router for at least 45 seconds.
9. Plug the router back in and wait 2 minutes.
10. Turn the printer on.
11. Once it's back up, press the Web Services button in the bottom left corner of the touch screen to confirm the Web Services is now connected.
If the issue persists, please provide me with either you Instant Ink account or the email address you used to enroll. I ask that you do not post this information publicly, instead, send me a private message.
