I have a HP8600 Pro and just recently it started showing "offline". I tried a lot of different things. The post that suggested unplugging the printer while it was on as well as turning off the rounter and leaving them off for 30 seconds ACTUALLY WORKED! Thank you so much. Tis the season of miracles.

I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 6978. It continues to say "offline". I've tried cycling power on both printer and router for over 30 seconds, but still offline. I can scan, but cannot print test page or print docs. Is there a button that says "online/offline"?
