Hello,
I have an HP Pavilion - 15-au111na - laptop which is just over 12 months old (so out of warranty).
Although not mis-treated, screws have been dropping out of the case, and this has caused it fo flex and break the bezel around the screen hinge. I've attached some photos.
I have tried replacing the missing screws, but the case still flexes - I assume due the crack in the bezel.
Please can you advise the best way to get this repaired?
I'm in the UK.
Thank you.

Well you have got the effect figured out but not the cause. What you have there is a hinge issue. The hinges are too tight and it has pulled the screws out of socket and stripped the screwholes so new screws will just fall out again.
It can be fixed but requires extensive replacement of large plastic chassis pieces which are not inexpensive.
Happy to discuss further but wait and see if anyone from HP intervenes and offers assistance.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

Hi,
I had high hopes here... I recieved a PM requesting details (serial number, contact details etc.) which I replied to.
I then recieved another PM stating the issue had been escalated to my regions HP’s Support Team for their review of possible options available, if any, to resolve this issue. And was told I should be contacted within 4 business days.
I've heard nothing since.
