Hello!

I have a problem with my HP Pavilion laptop.

After some months of use, I noticed the screen would stick out from the backing everytime I opened my laptop, exactly like the problem listed here.

A few days ago, the problem became worse and when I opened up the laptop in a bit of a hurry, the bottom right side of the screen came completely off the backing and the screen cracked!

What would the advice be to deal with this problem? If I send it to warranty, will the repair be charged since the cracked screen would just be seen as misuse? Since a lot of people have reported the same problem (like in the thread linked above) is this a manufacture defect?

Thank you very much for the help!
