Hi ihordkwame,
I see you have some problems with your TouchPad as well. Your HP 250 G1 is a commercial product so I have limited troubleshooting for you. I have included two documents on troubleshooting the TouchPad depending on your operating system below. If you are still have problems after that I suggest that you post in Commercial Notebook forum.
Using and Troubleshooting the TouchPad (Windows 😎
Using and Configuring the TouchPad (Windows 7)
Thank you,

Hello Ricktendo,
You are the man, this has saved my Touchpad, it is now fully functional; my suffering is over.
HP (automated) Flasher should not have allowed to flash the wrong version in any case, but there you have it!!
It took less than 5 minutes to solve.I hope HP learns a thing or two or much much more than that from you.
Thanks a million, and have a great day.
Simple.

By the way, the automated flashing script did not work even when I changed the script. So I did it manually.
This is how I did it.
1- Downloaded SP65951. and extracted it (using winrar).
2- Placed the image file (PR1196324-tm2054-002.img) in the same directory as (SynReflash64.exe).
3- Ran CMD as Administrator and moved to the folder where SynReflash64.exe is located.
4- Executed C:\SP65951\SynReflash64.exe /s PR1196324-tm2054-002.img
5- Followed instructions (it took about 2.5 minutes to flash).
6- Rebooted the computer but the Touchpad did not work, tried to uninstall the Synaptics driver (16.5.3.3) but it failed.
7- renistalled the Synaptics driver 16.5.3.3 again (successfully) and rebooted.
8- All is working fine.
It would be great if ricktendo can explain how did he extract the image file so that we can help others.
I hope this will help someone in trouble.
Good luck to you all, Simple.

One word of warning,
It took me a lot of time and investigation and sort this issue out.
Neither Synaptics (who I contacted and they ignored messages, nor HP who I also contacted) were of help.
During my investigation, I did use a HEX editor to compare the 28k image "PR1522164-tm2251-001_v1.5.img" that came within the SP65951 package and the SynapticsReflash.exe within the SP59628 so that I may identify the PR1196324-tm2054-002.img code within thefile, but I faced issues I could not resolve.
I use an OBDII connector with firmware reader/writer to extract the Firmware from my car's ECU and edit it to change the power/economy/performance maps to my liking. I was hoping that a tool of this sort may be available for the notebook.
Now I understand that recktendo extracted the image from the SynapticsReflash.exe file within SP59628. This means if Synaptics did not issue a firmware update, I would not have been able to to obtain the proper image to fix this issue and that we still have no way of extracting the image from the Synaptics Touchpad hardware.

Now that you know you can recover from a bad flash you may want to try this firmware see if its compatible
Contains PR1545510-tm2668-002.img, I notice it has the same naming sequence "002" so it may be compatible
