While trying to remove a usb receiver for a wireless mouse, I found that for some reason the usb just wouldn't come out. After a while, I managed to get the usb out, but the metal part of the usb is still stuck in the port. After about 2 hours of trying to get it out, it just isn't coming out. The port it is stuck in is a usb port with a lightning bolt symbol and 2 S's. How am i meant to fix this issue?

Disassembly of your notebook won't help, unless you are only doing it to disconnect the battery.

It will likely take the use of small needle nosed pliers to remove the metal part of the USB port. The only other way I can thing of would be to replace the port, and that is going to take a soldering skill set, which you may or may not have. Most people would take their notebook to a laptop shop for the issue you are facing.

A YouTuber disassembled hers out of curiosity.
