Dear HP Support Team,

I am writing to request your assistance regarding an issue with my HP ProBook laptop.

I purchased this computer approximately two years ago from a Samsung selling point in Constantine, Algeria. The device was sold to me as refurbished according to the seller; however, it appeared completely brand new and low in price so  I decided to purchase it. The laptop worked perfectly without any issues until recently.

A short time ago, the touchpad (mouse pad) suddenly stopped working. I took the laptop back to the shop where I bought it, as they provide after-sales service, but unfortunately they were unable to fix the problem. They informed me that the issue was caused by a BIOS password being changed.

I would like to clarify that I have never changed the BIOS password, and I do not have sufficient technical knowledge to do so. I also tried several solutions I found online, but none of them resolved the issue.

A friend advised me to contact HP Support directly, as you may be able to provide a specific file or official solution to resolve the BIOS-related problem that is preventing the touchpad from functioning properly. This is the reason for my email.

I would greatly appreciate your help and guidance. Please let me know if you need any additional information such as the product model or serial number.

Thank you very much for your time and support.

Sincerely,
Filali Nazim
