power button not turning on HP ENVY x360 m6-w103dx after upgrade- Is it dead for good?

After upgrading a failing HDD to SSD - it's not turning at all - no sound no lights = nothing.
Then the power supply connected it shows charging the battery light.
I've tried :
1) disconnecting the battery
2) resetting the laptop (hold power button for 1 min)
3) replaced the power button
4) took the motherboard out and inspected for any damage / reset RAM (took it off and put it back again)
5) put old HDD back

nothing works - it's just dead silent
Any other ideas or is it the end?

@lototskyy Have you attempted to connect the device to an alternate power cord or adapter?

Or check with another wall outlet, excluding any surge protectors to check if it works?

Yes, I did try that + bought a new original power cord. I can see it's charging the battery.

@lototskyy Does that mean the device is now turning on? If not, how can you see its charging the battery? Could you elaborate?

The light on the side is turning red = charging the battery. Now the battery charged and it is white. 

So, that part is functioning. Everything else is quiet and cold 😞

@lototskyy If you've followed all the steps from my first response and yet the device is not starting as it should, I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!
