I was searching this forum and google and people are complaining this issue from Envy releasing and nothing happend so far, so I am afraid, that there will be no update and it is just "feature" not flaw. I am in returning period also, so I am thinking, what to do.

+1 for it happening on AMD, mine is an Envy 360 13-ay/Ryzen 7.

As above, the keyboard and touchpad devices go to sleep when in tablet mode.

Obviously the problem then is that the power button is actually a keyboard button, and no longer works!

Same issue and version: Envy 360 13-ay/Ryzen 7

@HP: please find a solution for this. Otherwise I also have to think about returning it.

New BIOS version F.13 Rev.A is out. There is only one fix noted - "Improves CPU power consumption.". Anyone tried it, if there is anything new about waking up in tablet mode? I meanwhile returned my Envy.

Thanks for the info regarding F.13. I just installed it and I can't find any differences regarding our wake up issue.

I'm also having the same issue. Has HP provided any solution for this? This is so irritating.

Kindly help.

Hello Everyone!

Unfortunately no solution so far.

Any updates on this? I have Ryzen 5 recently bought. Any workaround?

I just got an intel Envy X360 15t-ed100 with F.06 BIOS and it is also not able to wake from sleep in tablet/tent mode.  Sort of makes the tablet use case useless.

I'll probably return it, unfolding a 15 inch tablet just to wake it from sleep is crazy.  I'd probably damage it at some point doing that.  Too bad too, otherwise a nice laptop.
