HP ProBook 450 G7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just few days back all HP computers with HP Support Assistant software started periodically to show "Please run as administrator" pop-up window.

Updated to latest HP Support Assistant version with no effect, if computer domain joined, and user not Administrator, this windows keeps pop-up ~15 min. For now I removed HP Support Assistant from almost all domain joined computers, but maybe anyone know what can be done? maybe there is some Group Policy solution etc.?

Getting the exact same error on for all of our users. Apparently no one knows and I hope this is resolved soon. If you check task manager, it is HPUpdate.exe being a pain.

I have tried applying all updates via the Support Assistant, but no dice.

The problem appears when upgrading to version 9.7.536.0. Which cannot be downloaded from the site HP.

No help from HP on this? It's generating trouble tickets.

Thank you, @Greencity! I have uninstalled HP Support Assistant (HSA), rebooted, run the install as Administrator and installed it. Same results. Any other suggestions?
