Pavilion 15 cc577nz
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hi

i wanted to add my monitor with this adapter above (N9K77AA#AC3 but as soon i put on that adapter i get

errormessages.

The display connection may be restricted

DisplayPort / MHL connection may not work. Try another cable.

Is this pavilion not supporting that adapter? - are there new drivers for this usb-c port?

Thank you for helping

Why is it that you are not using the HDMI output port?

The USB 3.1 Type-C ports on your notebook are compatible with the HP USB-C to HDMI Display adapter. HP product number P7Z55AA.

i would like to add a second monitor (2 big ones) so one is connected with the hdmi output port. so i wanted

to add the second one with this port!

is this pavilion maybe not capable to do that?

HP Recommended

Perhaps with two of the HP USB-C to HDMI Display adapters.

the problem is, as soon i plug in the adapter (even without the hdmi-cable) i get that error-message above.

what possibilities i have with this pavilion when i want to add 2 external monitors?

HP Recommended

Since there is only one USB type-C port and the HDMI port, I suggest using the HP adapter cited in the earlier post and an HDMI connector.

It is unfortunate, but there is no universal standard for the USB 3.1 Type-C that would make all brands of adapters compatible.  That is the case for all notebook manufacturers.

Another option is the HP USB-C dock with product number Y0K80AA.

"Connect your laptop to Ethernet, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C™[2], and four USB ports.

Dual display capable
An HDMI and DisplayPort let you power two displays at once.

HI.

Read my previous post. It appears that you have not done that.
