@Leonardo37, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Check Ink Levels

  • Even if the cyan ink tank appears to be full, sometimes there can be a clog or ink not reaching the printhead. Make sure the ink is properly seated, and the tank isn't dry.
  • Refill the cyan ink tank if it seems low or check for any air bubbles.

Perform a Printhead Cleaning Again

  • Advanced Cleaning: In addition to the basic cleaning, perform an advanced cleaning if your printer has that option in the software (usually in the "Printer Tools" or "Maintenance" section).
  • Manual Cleaning: If the cleaning option through the printer software didn't work, you can attempt a manual cleaning:
    1. Turn off the printer and unplug it.
    2. Open the printer to access the printhead.
    3. Gently remove the cyan ink cartridge.
    4. Use a lint-free cloth or a paper towel moistened with warm water to wipe the printhead. Avoid touching the nozzle area directly.
    5. Once clean, reinstall the ink cartridge and perform a nozzle check.

Check for Clogs in the Printhead

  • If the printhead is clogged and cleaning doesn't help, you might need to replace the printhead.
  • Inspect the cyan printhead for any visible blockages. Sometimes dried ink can block the nozzles, especially in the case of infrequent printing or poor-quality ink.

Use Printer's Built-in Diagnostic Tools

  • Many HP printers have a built-in diagnostic tool to detect problems with the printhead and ink system. Run the diagnostic from the printer’s control panel or through HP Smart software.
  • Look for any error codes or warnings related to the printhead.

Check the Ink Delivery System

  • Ensure the ink tubes connected to the cyan ink tank are free from kinks, damage, or blockages. Ink might not be flowing to the printhead if there's an obstruction.

Perform a Printer Reset

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the printer for about 5 minutes.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Sometimes, a reset can resolve minor system glitches.

Test With a Different Cyan Cartridge

  • Even though the ink might seem full, it's worth testing with a new cyan ink cartridge to rule out any defects in the current one.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Go to the HP website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model. Sometimes, software bugs can interfere with printing.

Check for Hardware Problems

  • If none of the above steps resolve the issue, there could be an issue with the printhead itself. A malfunctioning printhead might not be able to eject the cyan ink properly.

I hope these steps help resolve the issue
