I have a similar issue to this post here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Ink-Cartridges-Print-Quality/Ink-cartridges-depleted-even-thou...
I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 series: I used up all the magenta ink a month or so ago, but it didn't ask me to replace it. When my black ink finally depleted - I replaced all 4 ink cartridges. The black, cyan and yellow all are recognized as full. But the magenta is giving me a Supply System Problem.
"There is a problem with the supply system. Try replacing the indicated cartridges with different, non-empty cartridges. If the problem persists, contact support."
I've popped it out and back in several times - the ink cartridge is definitely full and is putting out ink (I had to clean some of it on the mouth of the cartridge). Can someone help me here? How do I get this fixed?

Hi @Marc-Bambou,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
I understand that you are getting a "Supply System Problem" error, and I am glad to assist you.
Reset the printer
Resetting the printer might clear the error message.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the power source.
Wait 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
Reseat the printhead up to three times
Open the door to access to the ink cartridges.
Wait until the carriage stops moving before you continue.
Unplug the power cord from the rear of the printer.
WARNING:
You must disconnect the power cord before reaching inside the printer.
Lift the carriage latch, slightly lift the printhead, lower the printhead back into the carriage, wiggle the printhead left and right, and then lower the carriage latch to lock the printhead into place.
Close the ink cartridge access door.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer, and then check the control panel for the error message.
Sometimes error messages persist after inserting the printhead. If the error message persists, repeat the steps to reseat the printhead up to three times.
Update the printer firmware to install the latest updates

If the above steps do not work and if only the Magenta is not working, then it could be faulty.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
