I went to replace my 3 pack of 952XL color cartridges and only the Cyan was accepted. The Magenta and Yellow were given the "Older Generation Cartridge Error". I find it hard to believe that 1 out of the 3 in the same package works and is not "Expired". I have read others having the same problem with the "Warranty End Date". Mine shows SEP 2020. This should not be the factor for a warranty but for a SUGGESTED use by date. If this can not be fixed by the software the printer uses than I would like to be reimbursed for the Magenta and the Yellow 952XL cartridges. I think the company should very seriously think about changing the protocols on the ink cartridges.
