Hi there,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your printer. Blank pages can be frustrating, but they're usually fixable. Since you mentioned there are no error messages and the printer sounds like it's working, the issue is likely related to software or print settings rather than a complete hardware failure.

Here’s a structured approach you can try, starting with the simplest solutions:

Step Action Details / Why This Helps
1. Basic ChecksTest with a different document & appTry printing a simple text file or a PDF from a different app (like TextEdit). This rules out a problem with that specific Word document.
Check printer's internal test pagePrint a self-test or settings page directly from your printer's control panel (usually by holding a button). If this page is also blank, the issue is likely with the printer hardware or ink system.
2. Software & ConnectionRestart everythingFully restart your MacBook and printer (unplug it for 60 seconds). This clears temporary glitches.
Reinstall the printer on your MacDelete the printer from System Settings > Printers & Scanners and add it again. Use the CUPS driver for your model if available, not just "AirPrint".
3. Advanced Mac FixesTest in a new user accountCreate a new user account on your Mac and try printing from there. If it works, the problem is in your main account's settings.
Reset the printing systemIn System Settings > Printers & Scanners, Control-click in the printer list and choose "Reset Printing System"Note: This removes all printers and print queues.
4. Printer MaintenanceRun a printhead cleaning cycleIf you have an inkjet, use the utility software or printer menu to run 1-2 cleaning cycles. Overdoing this can waste ink.
Re-seat the ink cartridgesTurn off the printer, remove and firmly reinstall the cartridges to ensure they're making good contact,
