Hi @Chas93lake,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet printer is printing blank pages despite having new cartridges, try the following troubleshooting steps.

Check Cartridge Installation: Ensure that the ink cartridges are installed correctly. Remove them and reseat them, making sure they click into place.

Clean the Printhead:

  • Go to the printer's settings on your computer or use the printer's control panel.
  • Find the option for cleaning the printhead and follow the prompts. This helps clear any clogs.

Run Printhead Alignment:

  • Similar to the cleaning process, run the printhead alignment from the printer's settings or control panel.

Check for Protective Tape: Ensure that any protective tape on the cartridges has been removed. Sometimes, new cartridges come with tape that needs to be taken off.

Print a Test Page:

  • Print a test page from the printer's menu. This will help you determine if the printer is capable of producing any output.

Update or Reinstall Drivers: Make sure your printer drivers are up to date. You can check the HP website for the latest drivers for your printer model.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Ensure that the printer is set to the correct paper size and type in the print settings on your computer.

Reset the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
