Hello ! I've got an issue I hope you can help me with. I recently changed my HP ENVY 5010's color cartridge because the previous one was empty. But for some reason my printer doesn't recognize it. It keeps saying that the cartridge is either absent or empty but it's a brand new one. I've restarted my printer dozens of times, unplugged and replugged, made sure the software was up to date and the cartridge is clean but it keeps giving me that error. Can someone help me with that ? Thanks !

If you have already performed the steps from the document Ink cartridge errors and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hey hello ! Thanks for reaching out and helping. I have done everything on that "Inkr cartridge problem" list and am now out of options. It still says "Ink Cartridge problem" on my printer's screen and I have already tried a brand new cartridge again. I'm in Belgium so there doesn't seem to be any HP support center in my area and yes, my product is out of warranty.
