@Roman125, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding print quality issues!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If air is trapped in the ink tubes of your HP Smart Tank 750 All-in-One, it can cause poor print quality. Follow these steps to remove air and ensure proper ink flow:
Check Ink Levels
Ensure that all ink tanks have enough ink and are filled correctly.
If needed, top up the ink tanks with the correct HP ink.
Run the Printer’s Internal Cleaning Cycle
Open HP Smart App on your computer.
Go to Printer Maintenance.
Select Printhead Cleaning and follow the instructions.
Print a test page to check the quality.
If the issue persists, continue with manual priming.
Manually Prime the Ink System
Turn on the printer and ensure it’s not printing.
Open the ink access door and locate the ink tubes.
Check for any leaks or loose connections in the tubes.
Use the Printer’s Purge Option (if available):
Some models have an Ink System Purge option under printer settings.
Access it via the HP Smart App or Printer Control Panel.
If the air bubbles remain, follow a manual purge process.
Print a Test Page
Run "Print Quality Diagnostic" from the printer settings.
If needed, perform a second Printhead Cleaning.
Perform a Hard Reset (If Necessary)
Turn off the printer and unplug it for 2-3 minutes.
Plug it back in and turn it on.
Retry printing.
I hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!

I have an HP Smart Tank 750 with sufficient ink levels, but there is air trapped in the tubes connecting the ink tanks to the print head. Cleaning the print head hasn’t resolved the issue. How can I properly fill the tubes with ink and remove the air, given their length?

@Roman125, Thanks for getting back to us!
You’ve already taken some great steps by checking ink levels and cleaning the printhead! Let’s work together to get this resolved.
Before we proceed, I’d like to ask a few questions to better understand the situation:
1️⃣ When you checked the ink tubes, did you notice if the air bubbles are moving when the printer is in use, or are they stationary?
2️⃣ Have you tried using the printer’s Purge option (if available) through the HP Smart App or printer settings?
3️⃣ Did you recently refill the ink tanks? Sometimes, refilling can introduce air into the system if done too quickly.
Once I have a bit more detail, I can guide you through the best way to remove the trapped air and ensure a smooth ink flow. Looking forward to your response! 😊

@Roman125, To effectively remove air from the ink pipes of your HP Smart Tank 750 Printer, follow these steps:
Safety and Preparation:
- Ensure you have gloves and a clean cloth. Keep the ink bottles beyond the reach of children.
- Avoid installing the printheads until the ink tanks are fully filled to prevent possible printhead damage.
Open Ink Access Door:
From the left side of the printer, lift the ink access door.
Open Tank Covers and Caps:
Open the tank covers.
Open the cap on the ink tank you want to fill.
Refill Ink Tanks:
Match the color of the ink bottle with the color of the ink tank and hold the bottle on the tank nozzle, ensuring the tip fits properly over the nozzle. Allow the ink to drain into the tank until the tank is full.
Close Ink Tank Caps:
After filling the ink tank, set the bottle upright, close or replace the ink bottle cap, and then close the ink tank cap.
Repeat for Other Ink Tanks:
- Repeat the steps to fill other ink tanks as needed.
Close Tank Covers and Ink Access Door:
Close the tank covers and ink access door, and then wait for 30 seconds for the printer to complete ink purging and calibration.
Store Remaining Ink:
- Store bottles with leftover ink upright in a cool, dry place.
