@Lu102, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Here's how you can fix it and optionally downgrade your printer firmware if needed.

Confirm the Problematic Update

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update > Update history
  • Look for KB5062660 under “Cumulative Updates”
  • If installed recently, this is likely the cause.

Uninstall the Update

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update > Update history > Uninstall updates
  • Select KB5062660 and uninstall it.
  • Then go to Settings > Windows Update and Pause updates for 1 week to prevent reinstallation.

Reinstall Printer Drivers

  1. Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features and uninstall all HP printer software.
  2. Restart your PC.
  3. Download the latest drivers for your printer from HP’s official page:
HP OfficeJet 8012 All-in-One Printer Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support
  4. Install the driver and follow on-screen instructions.
  5. Print a test page to confirm functionality.

Tips

  • Always restart your PC after uninstalling drivers.
  • Avoid using generic Windows drivers, use HP’s full-featured package.
  • Create a System Restore Point before making major changes.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
