It has never worked smoothly for me. Either it was network problems or print quality, but the latest issue is that it refuses to recognize the newly bought and installed ink. And I must mention, I am loosing my business due to your printer not working !!!
After the rant, here is the issue...
The old ink had dried up, so I got a new ink. Number 65. Before I installed the new ink, it automatically updated firmware. Once done, I put the new ink, but it refuses to recognize the ink. I get the error "remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge making sure it is correctly installed" . I tried various things, but the error persists.
Tried
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Scanning-Faxing-Copying/Cartridge-Problem-Envy-5020/td-p/6855891 - As a solution, you are just telling the normal process of installing the ink, which of course is not working !!!
Tried
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfBBiiVQs5U - Can't do a cold reboot because unless printer is on, I can't access the ink slots.
Something which should have taken a minute, is taking few hours of my time and makes me loose business and has become the cause of stress. You guys have added so much of features and made it so complex, that the basics have got compromised !!! Seems the inmates are running the asylum of HP !!!
