Hi Had my Instant Ink monthly summary today and it stated " Ink levels: Non-subscription cartridges are installed. " but they are the cartridges supplied with my printer from new that are fitted, why would it say that ?, I check in the HP Smart app and it see my cartridges and shows the levels so im confused.
I did receive another set of cartridges when I signed up the new prinrter to Instant ink (I did already have a account with my old printer) but I dont want to install them unless I did to ?

General help on instant ink management
I do not have an instant ink printer. My understanding is that if you run out of ink you can use genuine Hewlett Packard cartridges either original or refilled. They must have an HP chip in the cartridge.

It seems to me that if those cartridges were genuine HP you should get a refund.
