Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I've set up the printer and plugged it into my laptop by USB. It says the printer is offline, because it is not connected to the internet. How do I get the printer to print from my connected laptop? Is this possible? 

 

It shows my documents in the printer cue, but nothing is being transferred to the printer.

 

When I troubleshoot, it says the network portal is not set up properly.

Did you set up the printer when it was connected and plugged in?

You might need to try removing them, then make sure the printer is plugged in, online, and ready to print before you attempt to install the drivers.

 

I'm having my own difficulty getting it to work on a desktop newly updated from 10 to 11.

Yet I was able to set up a laptop without too much difficulty two years ago to work on Win11.

 

If all else fails, try searching for the download for the drivers and installing it from the .exe.
