HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 All-in-One Printer

I'm having the exact same problem as described on this post: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Setup-Software-Drivers/Firmware-Update-fails-to-load/m-p/86948...

Essentially, every day my printer tries to auto-update its firmware version but fails to download it, meaning that every morning I'm greeted with the error on the printer screen and have to press OK for it to restart and function again.

I'm on a HP Instant Ink subscription so I can't turn off auto-updates.

I've tried factory resetting multiple times and I've tried downloading the latest FW update offline setup file linked in the post link above, using USB connection and disconnecting the laptop from the internet while running the setup.

This setup process doesn't seem to update the printer firmware via USB. I've tried all the other methods (HP Smart app and on the printer menus).

I've also tried to go the support page of my printer but there's no FW related downloads there. Even though I get a notification of an essential FW update to download, when I click on the link it goes to the same page and there's no firmware update download link: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-officejet-pro-8020-all-in-one-printer-series/242...

Is there an offline firmware update program I can use?? I can't find any for my printer!

I'm currently on to HP support about exactly the same issue.

Whatsapp support was useless, all diag tools show no problems at all.

This firmware version MALBECPP1N001.2243A.00 seems to be screwed

HP Support saying this is a known issue and there is a download they can provide so you can manually flash the firmware over USB, see my post on the other thread.
